These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MegaHumanizer ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, APIs, and all related tools and features. By accessing or using MegaHumanizer, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

By creating an account, accessing the website, or using any MegaHumanizer tool, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MegaHumanizer is an AI text processing platform that provides:

• AI text humanization (sentence-level rewriting)
• AI detection scoring
• Document upload and processing
• Multi-language text processing (English, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia)

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information current.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized account access.

• Check AI detection scores on content you own or have permission to process
• Humanize text that you have created or have rights to modify

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to produce content that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the algorithms or models underlying the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond provided APIs
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Submit content containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Submit content that is defamatory, threatening, harassing, or promotes violence
• Circumvent usage limits, quotas, or access controls
• Impersonate another person or entity in connection with the Service

4.3 Academic Integrity

MegaHumanizer is a writing tool. We do not encourage or endorse the violation of academic integrity policies. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of the Service complies with their institution's academic policies and applicable regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when processing is complete.

5.2 Output

Humanized text generated by the Service ("Output") is yours to use without restriction. We claim no ownership over Output produced from Your Content.

5.3 Our Property

The Service, including its algorithms, models, user interface, documentation, and branding, is our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.

6. Data Processing and Privacy

6.1 Text Processing

Text submitted to MegaHumanizer is processed in real-time for the purpose of providing humanization and detection services. We do not retain, store, or use submitted text after processing is complete.

6.2 Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

7.1 Free Tier

Certain features of the Service are available without payment, subject to usage limits. Free tier availability and limits may change with reasonable notice.

7.2 Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected during purchase. All fees are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise specified.

7.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for the remaining period after cancellation.

7.4 Refunds

We offer refunds within 14 days of initial purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service. After 14 days, no refunds are issued. Contact support@megahumanizer.com for refund requests.

7.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes do not affect active subscription periods.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 No Guarantees

While MegaHumanizer consistently achieves low AI detection scores across major platforms, we do not guarantee specific detection outcomes. AI detection technology evolves continuously, and results may vary.

8.2 Academic Responsibility

We are not responsible for academic consequences arising from your use of the Service. Users must comply with their institution's policies regarding AI tool usage.

8.3 Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and unforeseen technical issues may temporarily affect service availability.

8.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MegaHumanizer's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MegaHumanizer, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

12.4 Assignment
